Update

The past two days have been filled with fevers, antibiotics, blood work, and 4 red blood and 1 platelet transfusions. It sounds like hell but it actually shows me that the chemo is doing its work in my bone marrow. I've had lots of visitors which helps pass the time and just give to not be alone in this hospital room.

One thing that os completely different at Seattle Childrens than Mary Bridge is that every morning a team that consists of a resident, fellow, attending and. someone who take notes comes into my room and pretty much summarizes the past 24 hours and asks me if there is something else I need. Reminds me a lot of Grey's Anatomy, just less drama!

Oh but some good news! Today is my last day in isolation for the cold I had. Tomorrow will be my first time leaving room 307 in seven days!
